In Search for “a Place in the Sun”: German Colonialism (1884-1919)

Michael Antolović is a doctor of history. He received his doctorate from the Department of History at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, on the topic “Historiographical work of Friedrich Meinecke” in 2012. He is an associate professor at the Faculty of Pedagogy, University of Novi Sad. Areas of his scientific interest and research are modern history of Europe, history of modern historiography, theory and methodology of historical science and intellectual history. He is a participant in numerous scientific gatherings and projects and a member of several professional and expert organizations. He actively speaks English and German, and has a passive knowledge of Hungarian and Russian.
